March 11th, 1827 witnessed the inauguration of the school of medicine at Abou Zaabal as a 6 year study program on assembly of the Paris Medical School. In 1832, Clot Bye sent the distinguished 12 graduates to Paris to complete their studies by the greatest medical professors in France. On returning, they would be the first nucleus of the Egyptian medical academic staff. By the year 1837, the number of graduates reached 430 doctors. It was out of a desire for expansion that the school of medicine was moved from Abou Zaabal to Kasr El-Ainy, where the faculty currently functions as the oldest School of Medicine in Egypt. This building dates to 1466 for Ahmed Ibn El-Aini the older son of El- Sultan Khoshgadam in 1882.

Five students from the University of Lille attended the elective summer training, and four students from Kasr Al Ainy traveled to be trained in the University of Lille for the year 2007/2008. The agreement requires fluency in the French language
Acceptance & Transfere
• The transfer between corresponding faculties in universities should be central at the university level
• Transfer requests may not be accepted after one week from the start of the study
• The priority for transferring should be among the applicants for students with the highest grades, and the number of transfers should not exceed 2% of the number of new students.
• Transfers are accepted from the second division to the third division only, and the acceptance of applications Is limited to successful applicants who have obtained a distinction only.
• The syllabus that was studied at the university from which he is transferred is presented to Prof. Dr. / Vice Dean of the Faculty to be compared with the syllabus taught at the Faculty of Medicine - Qasr Al-Ainy.
• Notransfers from private universities will be accepted
• It is required that the residence of the guardian be within the geographical distribution of Qasr Al-Aini medicine, with proof of that from official papers (personal or family card of the father).
• A detailed status statement for the student from his college shall be attached to the transfer request, showing the grades and grades, in addition to the general erade and academic courses, provided that they are compatible with the courses of Cairo medicine. The student will not be accepted into the college until after fulfilling these requirements.
• Transfers from students scheduled for a second round are not accepted, even If It was postponed from the first round
